    • Corinth Montessori School
Hello, and welcome to our wonderful school! My name is Angela, and as the Director of Corinth Montessori. We are a community school serving children ages 18 months to 6 years old.

I love watching the Montessori Method work its magic with the children and families of our community. Being part of such a nurturing, child-centered environment with supportive families and staff is truly the best part of the job. I have built many wonderful relationships with our parents over the years, and truly feel like an extension of their families.

We have several “original” staff members who helped open our school in 1999. Most of our staff have been with us for over six years. All of our lead teachers are Montessori Certified through an accredited Montessori certification program, and have several years of teaching experience.

We look forward to making you a part of our family. Call us today to schedule a tour and experience the Montessori difference!

      Why Us?

We are committed to the education of the whole child – the emotional, social and educational growth of each individual. Our mixed-age groups, highly qualified and passionate staff, and dedication to the high standards of the Montessori philosophy make our program the best around.

Our facility is a beautiful seven room school which includes a lovely dining room. This is where our children enjoy lunch together in a family style setting. They practice grace, courtesy, and social etiquette in this relaxing environment.

Our large, gated playground is a wonderful outdoor environment for our children. We have beautiful gardens for the children to plant and care for. They also enjoy tricycles, climbing structures, basketball courts, and wide open grassy lawns for games and other gross motor activities. When the weather is nice, we picnic outside at our shaded picnic tables.

We are a family-oriented community school. I believe it is very important that all of us work together for the success of the child. Honesty, integrity, and respect are all important aspects here. My door is always open, and honest communication is welcomed and encouraged.

      Our Programs

The Montessori Method was developed by Italian educator Dr. Maria Montessori in the early twentieth century. It is built upon the idea that children develop differently than adults, and that they are competent beings capable of self-directed learning.

We combine these proven methods with the nurturing your child needs in order to discover and grow. Our vast selection of genuine Montessori materials is practically irresistible to children, and helps to guide them along the path of true discovery. Our special, proven approach can help enhance your child’s independence, inspiration and intelligence.

      Pre-Primary Program:

We offer a beautiful classroom community for our toddlers, ages 18 months to 3 years old. Our Montessori Directress in the classroom has been with us since 2002, and is Montessori Certified. A part-time program is available for this age group.

      Primary Program:

Our Primary classrooms are mixed aged groups. The program is designed for children to come in at the age of 3 years, and spend a full three-year cycle in the same classroom with the same Directress. We welcome children who are older than 3 years already! They will quickly assimilate into the environment and thrive in the classroom.

This mixed age environment gives our younger children an older group of role models to look to for guidance. And it allows the older children to model behavior and set examples for the younger students. This allows for ongoing growth, learning, and relationship building that continues without the interruption of changing teachers and environments every 6 to 12 months. Your child’s teacher is able to truly know and understand your child, and form a lasting bond with him/her over this time period.

In our Primary Program our children are taught important skills as well as tolerance and respect. Part-time programs are available for this age group.

      Enrichment Program:

We offer after-school enrichment programs in Music, Dance, Computers, Art, Stretch N’ Grow, and Martial Arts.
